Ribblesdale Medical Practices relocated to Townside Primary Care Centre during June, and are now based on the second floor of the new centre.

Townside Primary Care Centre is a £10 million health facility which is set to transform health services for local patients. The centre which was officially opened by His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent during March this year, extends to over 4,000 sq metres, over five floors and offers 70 clinical rooms.

In the coming weeks, patients will also be able to access a wide range of other health and wellbeing services, including a range of community services.  These other services will move into the centre in the coming weeks in a phased approach.  The Centre also offers an on-site pharmacy for ready access to over the counter medicines and prescription drugs.

Regarding the move, Peel GPs said: “We are pleased to be able to provide quality healthcare in a safe, modern and clean environment.”
