Continence Service
It is estimated that 10 million adults in the United Kingdom are affected with a bladder or bowel condition which the majority find socially disabling and isolating. There are a variety of causes and, with help, most problems can be eased or completely solved. The Continence Service has a team of Specialist Nurses who have had specific training and work closely with District Nurses, Health Visitors and Family Doctors, offering advice and support to both professionals and members of the public in order to help people experiencing continence problems.
The Continence Service operates an open referral policy for people living in Bury and who are registered with a Bury GP. This means you can contact us directly without a referral from your GP.
