Community Services Bury's Contraception & Sexual Health Service and Young Persons Advisory Service (YPAS) clinics provide a free and confidential service to clients requiring contraception and sexual health advice.

All staff are highly skilled and have specific experience and training in contraception, reproduction and sexual health care.

All services provided are free and confidential and include:

  • Sexual health and general health promotion
  • Wide range of contraceptive options including IUDs, contraceptive pills/ injections
  • Condom distribution scheme (CDS)
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Ability to discuss the options of pregnancy
  • Direct referral to abortion services
  • Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea screening (R U Clear? Screen) and treatment programme
  • Fast track referral to local Genito Urinary Medicine (GUM) Services
  • Cervical cytology smears
