About us
Bury Primary Care Trust Provider Services was first formed, as a separate directorate of Bury Primary Care Trust, in July 2005 and has functioned as a distinct operating unit with specific rights and accountabilities, since April 2007. We became an arms length provider organisation known as Community Services Bury (CSB) with full effect from 1 January 2009.
The CSB Board is a sub-committee of the NHS Bury Board, and it has a responsibility to provide assurance and transparency into its decision-making processes. The CSB Board functions within a mandate specified within a Scheme of Reservation and Delegation. CSB Board minutes are reported to the main NHS Bury Board.
