A choice of who provides services is better for patients

Have your say on pharmacy services

The Health Act 2009 requires all PCTs to produce a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment. As a result, during 2010-11 NHS Bury will be conducting an assessment of local pharmacy services across the borough with a range of stakeholders. This extensive review will look at current provision, to ensure that this meets the health needs of the local population. This feedback from the review will be used to plan pharmacy services in the future.

In reviewing pharmacy services across the borough, we recognise the important insight that patients and members of the public can provide. We would therefore be grateful if you could complete a questionnaire to let us know your views. The closing date for the survey is 13 August 2010, so please take the opportunity to shape this process before this date.

The questionnaire should only take around five minutes to complete, and as well as a range of multiple choice questions, there are also a number of free type boxes where you can explain your views in more detail. You are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible here, including, where applicable, details of any specific pharmacy you are discussing where possible.

Please take the opportunity to have your say and complete the survey by the closing date of Friday 13 August 2010.
