Understanding need, shaping the future
In order to support and target efforts and resources towards improving the health and well-being of our population, it is important that NHS Bury has a comprehensive understanding of local needs.
Team Bury partners are working together to understand the health and well-being of our communities so we can ensure that local people lead healthy and happy lives into the future, regardless of who they are and where they live in the borough.
In doing this we have looked at a range of existing information to help us understand population needs for health and well-being in Bury. The information we have will help us to plan these and other services in Bury for the next few years.
Collating and understanding this information has been part of a process called the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA).
Have your say!
We need your feedback as to whether the information presented in our JSNA reflects an accurate picture of health and wellbeing across the borough. All comments and suggestions will be considered as part of our continuing needs assessment process.
