A choice of who provides services is better for patients

Test consultation

NHS Bury is committed to actively involving our patients and members of the public in the delivery of high quality healthcare.  To support this, NHS Bury established a comment box/suggestion scheme at the beginning of April 2010.  Comment boxes and feedback cards were installed in all Primary Care Centres and Health Centres across the borough as follows:  Moorgate Primary Care Centre; Townside Primary Care Centre; Radcliffe Primary Care Centre; Prestwich Health Centre; Whitefield Health Centre; Mile Lane Health Centre; Tottington Health Centre and Ramsbottom Health Centre.

The scheme is an opportunity for patients to share their views and suggestions about the services they use, enabling us to improve services as a result.

All comments/suggestions raised via the scheme are dealt with by the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).  The PALS Team then feed comments back to the relevant department so that service improvements can be implemented.  Any comment can be made anonymously.  Alternatively, patients can complete their contact details and PALS
