Survey in relation to Urgent Care services
Urgent care refers to the range of NHS services available to people who need advice, care, treatment or diagnosis quickly and unexpectedly.
Urgent care usually involves one of the following situations:
- Calling NHS Direct or the out-of-hours GP service BARDOC (Bury And Rochdale Doctors On Call)
- Utilising an A&E department such as Fairfield General Hospital or North Manchester General Hospital; Bury Urgent Treatment Centre, your GP surgery or a Walk-in Centre
- Calling the ambulance service (dialling 999)
People using urgent care services should receive equal access to high quality urgent and emergency care services 24 hours a day, so that whatever your need, you see the most appropriate healthcare professional in a timely way.
NHS Bury would like to learn about your experiences of using local NHS services, so that we can see where things work well and where improvements could be made.
This short survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete and we would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to help us with this important work.
