Boardroom
NHS Bury’s Board oversees the work of the organisation and sets its priorities and direction. The Board members represent the interests of patients, carers and the public of Bury.
The Board is made up of the NHS Bury's executive directors, who are employed by NHS Bury, and non-executive directors. Non-executive directors are appointed independently by the Appointments Commission and bring another valuable perspective to the work of NHS Bury. They also contribute a high degree of professional expertise, gained during their careers in other organisations.
Board meetings are held in public every two months. At the end of the agenda there is an opportunity for public questions about issues raised during the meeting.
The Board is chaired by Paul Horrocks.
